Due to COVID-19 concerns, Lone Star Animal Hospital will be implementing changes to safeguard the health of our clients, our patients and our team members while still providing needed care.
Effective IMMEDIATELY, we will be providing curbside check-in for your pet's appointment or other needs (grooming or medicine pick up).
We are restricting client access inside the hospital and evaluating availability on a case by case basis. If you wish to be present during your pet's routine vaccination exam please let our staff know at the time of booking to see if an in room appointment is available, sick or injured patients will be seen as drop off appointments ONLY.
When you arrive in the parking lot, phone the clinic (936-273-1160) to notify us and a staff member will come to bring your pet inside. This allows you to wait inside the vehicle and have minimal contact with other people in the clinic.
In order to expedite the process, ALL paperwork MUST be completed and sent electronically prior to appointments. If not, a phone call discussing treatment plans and options MUST be completed prior to performing services or leaving pet for drop off.
After treatment or services are completed, payments can be taken over the phone. Before bringing your pet back to your vehicle, all medications and instructions will be given to you and explained in detail.
