ROUTINE EXAM VISITS

Patients are seen by schedule appointments.  Drop off appointments are available depending on doctors schedule. 

Although every effort is made to see your pet at its scheduled time, we appreciate your understanding should a medical emergency arise and be given top priority.

All new clients must provide proof of a current Rabies vaccination for pets over 4 months.

All pets must be examined by a Lone Star Animal Hospital veterinarian every 12 months in order to continue receiving prescription medication.  Some medications also require monitoring bloodwork done every 6-12 months.

All pets must have proof of a heartworm test every 12 months to continue receiving prescription heartworm prevention.

 

SURGICAL REQUIREMENTS

All pets must be fasted 10 hours prior to surgery.

All surgical/dental patients must check in the clinic between 7:30 and 8:30 am.

All clients must bring in a completed authorization forms or allow enough time to fill one out the morning of check in.

All pets over 4 months must have proof of a current Rabies vaccination.

All dogs over 6 months must have proof of a current heartworm test with results.  Puppies under 12 months of age are permitted to provide proof of regular monthly prevention.
